We are here to go through what you can expect when CookieCon Orlando Tickets go on sale on May 17th. As a reminder, tickets go on sale at 8pm Eastern. So that’s 7pm Central, 6pm Mountain and 5 pm Pacific.

Sometime before the 8pm start time, you will see this new notice when you visit our web site. You’ll simply need to click that big red button, and you’ll be taken to our queueing web site.

Ok, let’s talk about the queue! Before 8pm Eastern, you’ll be put in a virtual waiting room (as seen on the left), to wait until registration starts. When 8pm hits, it will randomize the order of everyone in the waiting room and put you in the actual queue (as seen on the right). This is a little “lottery” feature that randomly places everyone in the queue, who was on the site before 8pm. Anyone who comes on after 8pm will be placed in the queue in the order they arrive.

So, you’ll want to just wait on this page. You will see the number of people who are ahead of you. Now, please do not get discouraged if that is a larger number than the 900 available tickets. That number is often larger than the actual number of people trying to get in (one reason being that some people are trying to get in with multiple devices). So don’t worry too much about this - just be patient, and hopefully we’ll get everyone through in a reasonable amount of time.

Finally, you may want to keep an eye on this page, as we will push status updates there, which will appear in a yellow box - for example, if tickets sell out - we’ll notify everybody there.

Ok, once you are at the front of the line, you’ll be taken to our Registration Website. This is pretty simple! Just click “New Registration” to get started! You'll have 10 minutes to complete your registration.

First step here, is just to enter your valid email address, and then click “Continue”.

Next step is to provide a few details as shown here. A few of these are required. If you registered with us previously, and you use the same email address, this page may pre-populate, so just check everything and make sure it’s accurate. Once your info is entered, just click “continue”.

Next, read through our terms and conditions, check the box below, and then click “Continue”. If you would like to review our Terms and Conditions before tickets go on sale, you can do so from this page. After continuing, you'll then go to the "options" page.

This is where you can purchase the official CookieCon T-Shirt! This will be available for Pre-Purchase only, and will available for pick-up at CookieCon. Prices will be shown on there by the time you are registering. Finally this page will indicate that you’ll also need to pay the registration fee.

For those who have purchased a CookieCon ticket in the past, registering a second Attendee looks a little different this time. We'll show you how to do that in just a bit.

Once you’ve completed registering, you’ll finish up at the payments page. You’ll be able to review your total, fill out your credit card and billing information, and make your payment securely online. And that’s really all there will be to the process!

Finally you'll end on the Registration Record page, which is a summary of what you just purchased. If you're only registering for yourself, you're all set! You'll receive a confirmation email, so keep an eye out for that, and please let us know if you do not receive it.

If you are registering for a second Attendee you’ll need to click that "New Registration" button. This will take you to the beginning of the process again. Simply enter the information for the second Attendee, starting with a unique email address, and then add their relevant information.

As a reminder, you only have 10 minutes total to complete both registrations. This should be plenty of time to complete this, but make sure you're prepared with all of the needed information including email addresses and payment info.

We are actively monitoring registration! There are a few different components to the process in place to help ensure that things go smoothly. If any part of that process goes down, we will actively work to get it resolved.

As we said before, don’t get frustrated with the number of people in the “Queue” ahead of you. That displayed number is probably much larger than the actual number. And we’ll be posting status updates to the Queue page.

Starting on May 24, 2023, you’ll be able to come back into your account and purchase Add-On Workshops, Choose Electives, and select your Core Class Track. We will post another video before then to go over those details. For more info on all of those things, check out our website.
